There are two ways that LiveControl events can be ended:
1. Ending an Event at a specific time
If a client wants to end an event at a specific time, they will either:
- End the event on their client dashboard – this will stop LCS from streaming (no action for Videographer)
- OR an audible end cue will be spoken clearly into a microphone. The end of event cue will be directly addressed by using the words “live stream” (examples below)
- “Thanks to all of you who joined via the live stream and have a great day.”
- “To all of you on the live stream, thank you for joining us and we hope to see you again.”
Please always listen for these sign off messages and promptly end the event after hearing the end cue.
2. Ending an Event at the natural stopping point
If there is no Audio Cue for the end of the event, please follow the natural flow of the event and end it once the action has completed. Most events will have a very logical stopping point.
- Check your Videographer Notes or Cue Sheet to make sure all the action has been captured
- Please end events once you can confirm that the service has completed, no need to check-in with support to end events unless you are unsure
