Funeral – Visitation Guidelines (NEW!)

Technical Tips & Training

Visitations are mostly for people to spend time with each other and the deceased before the funeral. If you operate one of these events, you should view this as active time. You can capture one loop of the slideshow, but after that focus on capturing the room – hugs and interactions among visitors, people coming up to the casket, etc. These events may or may not involve a speaker or presenter. Unless someone is presenting or speaking try to avoid close ups of specific individuals. If you notice setup is still happening or the make up artist is still working please avoid capturing this and instead focus on things like any floral arrangements, the video montage, any other gathered people, etc.

The main thing we want to avoid is lengthy static shots or showing the slide show for the entire event. These events should be treated as any other event and we expect the shots to still have as much variety as possible while maintaining our quality standards. If you have any questions or concerns about a specific event you are assigned to please reach out to scheduling@livecontrol.io. If you need assistance during prep time or while an event is live please reach out to Support.
